A Time To Rise is a collaboration between Nico Cathcart and Austin “Auz” Miles during the Richmond Night Market. Nico and Auz spent time walking through monument ave in its current state and drew inspiration from the graffiti written in protest during the liberation of the soon to be removed Confederate Monuments. This collaboration is an embodiment of unity and positivity in the midst of this time of pain and reflection. Centered in this image is a mother and her child mounted on a leaping horse, two generations of change, making the charge towards prosperity and equity for all.
