This summer, Mending Walls and Richmond Hill are collaborating to plan, engage, and execute a vision for the approximately 500 ft wall that borders the south side of the Richmond Hill property. The land directly adjacent to the wall is a Richmond City Public Park, Taylor’s Hill Park, which looks out across Shockoe Bottom and can be seen from I-95. We invite you to join us in sharing your thoughts & feedback as we re-imagine and rediscover the wall, its history and legacy, and the adjacent park. The central theme is “Transcending Walls.” We invite your ideas, questions, and values, as we work together to build empathy and connection to transcend walls, both physical and metaphorical, throughout the entire collaboration process.
